Microwave Sensors

The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit. The system generates an invisible 3D volumetric/electromagnetic high frequency microwave beam protecting a defined area. The Sensors are post-mounted and installed facing each other to form an invisible, sensitive cylindrical protection Zone of detection and can be used by itself to provide intrusion detection around an entire perimeter or as part of a total solution for advanced security perimeter protection.

Any intruder walking, crawling, or running entering the protected area will be detected and an alarm will be generated and sent back to the sensor management system. Signal are monitored and compared with behavior models using algorithms to decide if the signal was created by a real intruder or not. The signals are continuously measured and compared with typical stored signals. Every event that generates an alarm or a change in stored signals is date/time logged and stored in memory and can be analyzed in real time or later.

The system is used in the harshest of environments and in all weather conditions. It is used to detect a defined body mass and thus reduces the false alarms and will not be affected by small objects and animals.
