Buried Intrusion Detection Sensors

Fiber Optic Sensors
Fiber Optic cables the preferred PID system for medium and large scale installations either along the fence or buried along the perimeter to detect ground movement.

Buried Fiber Optic Cable
Fiber Optic buried cables is one of the most recognized systems to protect Critical Infrastructure sites and for national security. An attempt to walk, crawl, climb, dig, cut the fence produces a disturbance in the buried fiber which signals an alarm. The cable is a highly sensitive, enabling the detection of very low sound, vibration, or strain levels. They are immune to electromagnetic interference. Life is usually 20 plus years. Used for long distances without the need for intermediate power supplies. It is also much more durable, trustworthy and reliable, a better choice for the protection of sites with corrosive and harsh environments. Fiber optic cables will not take on fire.

The best in class sensors are configured between 400-1000 meters long zones with a corridor for detection of 3 meters or greater wide per senor processor and within 1, 3 and 10 meters of accuracy. The cable is in dual mode and supports and is integrated into the complete security applications provided to clients. It communicates with other systems such as video surveillance, CCTV and other sensors used to protect the perimeter sending signals and monitoring in real time all events taking place.

APPLICATIONS

Protecting sensitive and high security sites such as, Critical Infrastructure sites, Military Sites, Mobile Military sites, airports and ports of entry, power plants.
